President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev receives credentials from the newly appointed Ambassadors to the Republic of Kazakhstan

Among them were the Head of the EU Delegation in Kazakhstan Traian Hristea, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland Maciej Lang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey Nevzat Uyanik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary Andras Barany, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Doan Thi Xuan Hien.

The Head of State congratulated the ambassadors on the beginning of their work in our country, and stressed they have arrived in Kazakhstan during a very important period.

Nursultan Nazarbayev touched upon a number of issues concerning the implementation of the industrialization programme, creation of the Astana international financial center, preparation for the EXPO-2017 international exhibition, as well as the implementation of five institutional reforms.

In addition, the President focused on the issues of foreign policy agenda.

“A month ago the anniversary 70th session of the UN General Assembly was held. The debates, which took place on its sidelines, have shown the need for a new paradigm of human development. We offer the Plan of Global Strategic Initiative - 2045. Its core essence lies in the creation of a strategy to prevent the causes of war and conflicts,” said the Head of the State.

Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that in the 21st century the main goal for the humankind should be the establishment of a nuclear- weapon-free world. To do this, Kazakhstan proposed to adopt the Universal Declaration of the United Nations for achieving a nuclear-weapon-free world.

At the end of the ceremony, the President wished the ambassadors fruitful work on a new workplace.
