The telegram notes that it is with great sorrow that Nursultan Nazarbayev learned of the many casualties and survivors of the earthquake in the country’s Kyushu island.
On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed condolences to the bereaved families, the Emperor Akihito and the entire Japanese people, and wished the survivors speedy recovery.
