The second day of the President’s working trip to the region started with visiting of the UralskAgroRemMash plant. Nursultan Nazarbayev acquainted himself with the new manufacturing at the plant, which produces special automotive equipment. The technological equipment park has been upgraded as part of the accelerated industrial and innovative development programme. The enterprise received the support as part of the Business Road Map 2020 Programme. The plant produces fire engines, water sprinklers and plans to set up the production equipment for the collection of household wastes.
The head of state met local business leaders in order to discuss industrialization plans.
Then the President visited a new mathematics and physics Nazarbayev intellectual school involving 58 local and 16 foreign teachers. The 7th intellectual school will be educating 600 students according to international standards. Its main feature is the boarding school, which will accommodate 120 gifted children from remote regions of the country.
Children will study in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages. To date, fifteen intellectual schools are planned to be built throughout the country.
